Why is Fran happy?
Fran was 29 when the film was shot. Friedreich’s ataxia, a degenerative disease, makes him more and more dependent; even so, he lives happily.
The documentary looks for the reason among the people who know him, in seven cities: Elche, Jaén, Turin, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and Córdoba. It was shot in 2015, partly funded through crowdfunding on Verkami, and premiered in 2016.
