The story behind it
An emptiness nothing could fill.
Javier Sartorius came from a family of Madrid aristocracy. Young and charismatic, he lived his tennis successes in the United States. But he felt an emptiness that nothing could fill.
He gave up everything. He was a missionary in Cuzco, Peru, and then a monk at the Santuario de Lord, in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. He died of a heart attack before being ordained a priest.
The film follows that path where it happened: we shot it in Peru and in Lord, among other places, with the collaboration of the Santuario de Lord.
